What does a HR Representative do?
An HR Representative supports the HR team with administrative tasks and day-to-day operations. They assist with talent acquisition efforts, onboarding and orientation, employee data entry and management, and help with employee relations, benefits, and learning and development projects.
HR Representative Responsibilities
- Post job openings, monitor applications, assist with scheduling interviews, and draft offer letters.
- Maintain records of active job openings and applications received.
- Provide new hires with the appropriate paperwork and details of their new role.
- Create and maintain accurate employee records.
- Answer employees’ questions and assist with the administration of their benefits.
- Coordinate training and development activities, including scheduling, organizing materials, and tracking attendance.
- Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and other reporting.
- Support the HR team with special projects.
HR Representative Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent certifications and experience.
- Understanding of HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with HR software and Microsoft Office.
